There can always be a chance of problems when you ship your motorcycle, break downs, traffic and weather, etc.

Enclosed or open trailer - Motorcycles are sensitive to the elements, thrown rocks and road particles. Closed should always be your first choice. 18 wheelers are the most common method shippers use.

Insurance - Ask if shipping insurance is included in your quote. Take good phots of your motorcycle prior to shipping.

Fluids - many shipping companies require the gas tank be empty - be prepared for it.

This is not a last minute project.

Some hotels do not allow parking a trailer in there parking lot - be sure to check with the hotel or resort. Remember theft can be a issue. While traveling ask to park near the front desk of the hotel where the clerk can keep and eye on it.
