As of July 1, 2008, every motorcycle rider
in Florida must complete a basic motorcycle safety course
before obtaining a motorcycle endorsement or
motorcycle-only license. The course must be one
that is approved by the
Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF).
 Regardless, the Basic rider course is
Compulsory, in the state of Florida training is
mandatory to obtain your motorcycle endorsement.
Volusia Motorcycle Training
wants to make this as painless, inexpensive and fun as possible. It
is also our goal to reduce the accident rate far
beyond that 6 month break in period.
Regardless of your stand on mandatory motorcycle
training, Motorcycle Training is required to obtain
a motorcycle license in Florida.

Selecting your motorcycle training school. The required
training in Florida is a 15 hour course certified by the
state of Florida.
Volusia motorcycle training is certified by the state of
Florida. Upon completion of the 15 hour course you can
receive your motorcycle endorsement.

RiderCoaches: The "ridercoaches" at Volusia
motorcycle training exceed standards. We require
additional criteria for our RiderCoaches. In addition to
being Certified to teach / instruct motorcycle courses, or
RiderCoaches are pass the "sensitivity" test. We want
your training to be fun and safe. Our RiderCoaches are
knowledgeable,
friendly, compassionate, generous and likable.
We
go the extra step to make this the basic rider course
enjoyable. We provide
class photos
and individual photos of students while riding (suitable
for printing).
We provide an additional certificate suitable for
framing.
We encourage our students to come back after the course
is concluded to visit their instructor "friends", seek
advice and show off their new ride.
 Let's face it, a motorcycle instructor cannot make a
living at being a motorcycle RiderCoach.
Many of our RiderCoaches are retired Law Enforcement
professionals, Certified Law Enforcement RiderCoaches, or Motor cops, or RiderCoaches currently
teaching law enforcement for the state of Florida. They are
dedicated professionals.
They do this because they want to and they care about
people and they care about motorcycle safety. Our
RiderCoaches are people friendly. They want to make a
difference.
